The
Federici Wine Company was founded in 1960 in the foothills of
Praeneste 30kms south of Rome. Utilizing their own vineyards they
began by producing wines of local style and tradition serving
the local population.
After
relocating out of it's old premises in the medieval hill-town
of Zagarolo to new, modern facilities in via San Apollaria, Federici
wines began selecting and producing quality still and sparkling
wines to serve the more discerning customers of today.
In
this way the company opened it's horizons to a newer, larger and
more discerning clientele. Producing wines using the newest technologies
and state of the art machinery but always with and eye on respecting
the traditional family winemaking standards developed over generations.
In
this new category of quality, wines, are the award 'Le Ripe' white
and red wines, Vigna Dei Colli, Frizzo and other fine wines. Due
to the family's desire to innovate and grow we are adding new
wines to our portfolio each year.
